The 2012 St. Louis City Education Expo will be held tomorrow, February 29, from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the City Hall Rotunda. All are invited to attend and check out over 40 schools that will be represented. Applications for the upcoming school year will also be available.
For the last few years an Education Expo has been held at city hall for residents, parents, city employees, and teachers to have an opportunity to learn about the many great public, private, and parochial school options they have available to them from kindergarten through 12th grade.
St. Louis city has undergone many changes in the school system over the past decade and this is a good way to see what’s out there. Many schools have gone from a K-12 format to a middle school format, teaching grades 5-8. In some cases, students will attend three different schools before they graduate from high school. It is important for students and their parents to know what choices best suits their academic needs.
The 40 schools represented will set up displays and have staff on hand to answer questions and provide information. If you have any questions, please call 622-4043.
