Home Sales PickUp Giving Pulse To Local Economy

St. Louis city and county home sales are on the rise. In February 2012 more homes were sold than in any February since 2008.

Reported by St. Louis Association of Realtors,  median home prices continued to fall with this being nine straight months of raising home sales with Febuary 2012 being the higheast overall.

Average prices, which give more weight to expensive homes, also fell to $149,300 in February from $173,312 a year earlier.
