International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day was originally called International Working Women’s Day, and is celebrated on March 8 every year.
Under a beautiful blue sky and pleasant temperatures the 2012 Veterans Day parade kicked off this past Saturday. Even though November 11th is the day we honor our veterans, we should in fact honor and remember all these brave men and women have done for the United States.
This Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM come celebrate Bastille Day at South St. Louis Square Park located at 7700 South Broadway.
Now is the time of year when many schools have their end of school year “picnic” or festival. Here is a brief listing of some of the Upcoming “school picnics”. This is a partial listing and does not indicate all “school picnics”.
The Annual Annie Malone May Day Parade, was held Sunday, May 20th and began at 1:00 PM.
